Angkor Wat

I'm cheating again......Bret took these pictures on his trip. He took over 200 pics and got some really good shots. These are just a couple. The colors in the 2nd one are unbelievable. It is straight from the camera. It almost looks fake. He had a great time with some unforgettable experiences.

ChuckECheese

Rylan had lots of fun at ChuckECheese with his Uncle Stephen and Aunt Christi. He even rode in the new jeep and on a ferry. What a funfilled afternoon!

Something Different

No, Rylan and I don't get to go. I'm sure Bret will have fun once the work part is over. He's taking a couple of days vacation while he's there.

Playing in the sand

So this is the last of my "old" pictures. I'll have to start taking new ones again. Lately it's just been quick snap shots. I know, where's the creativity??!! I'll work on it. I have to warn you that my Paint Shop Pro was deleted along with everything else on my computer. I downloaded it....still in mourning. No black and white, no cool effects, no good cropping...what will I do? (For those of you still wondering, the "toothpick" picture is actually skewers floating in my kitchen sink. Bret was making kabobs and I couldn't pass up the opportunity for an interesting picture.)

Fun at the playground

These were taken a few weeks ago. Aunt Kelly, Maggie and Mia came over one afternoon and we went to the playground. Mia and Rylan had lots of fun running up and down the hill.

Rodeo

Let me start out by saying that I didn't take any of these pictures on this post. Tina, Bret's sister, took them all. Except for the one of her and Rylan. I think Tyler actually took that one. Good job Ty! (Thanks for capturing the moments, even the bad ones.) We went to the Crosby Rodeo on Friday night. Rylan and Tyler had lots of fun riding the carnival rides. Once the rodeo started I don't think Rylan even blinked. We had a scare once the rodeo ended and the concert began. Rylan and his Aunt had a spill while going down the stairs. He had a pretty good knot on the back of his head and threw up about 30 minutes later. An ambulance was called and we spent a few hours in the ER. Thank God the catscan and blood work came back fine! He was such a little trooper through it all. Christi is OK too. She injured her foot and has bruises all down her side. The doctor told her today that it's not broken but she does have to stay on crutches for awhile. Rylan has been fine since Saturday and the knot has gone down alot! If we could only wrap them in our arms and keep them safe forever. I know, I know.........there will be plenty of more scares in the future so I should just brace myself.

I'm back

Finally! My computer is up and running. It was just fixed this afternoon. We had to start from scratch. Fortunately I saved most of my pics before the real damage hit. It's late and I don't feel like downloading them now but I promise I will return to my blogs. Life without the internet.......as much as I enjoy sharing pictures and easily keeping in touch, I kinda enjoyed not being "sucked in." What happened to simple life? A life without interferences? Don't let me get started......I'll post pictures tomorrow.
